For your own computers
The computer help desk for people who do not have one.
When your PC slows down, fills up, or starts behaving strangely, 365 IT Guard tells you what is actually wrong — and for the common problems, fixes it for you once you say go. Plain language, one step at a time, and nothing happens to your computer that you did not approve.
01The problem
Something is wrong, and there is nobody to ask.
The computer gets slower over months, not overnight. A message appears that means nothing to you. Storage fills up and you have no idea what is using it.
The advice online is written for someone who already knows the answer, and half of it is out of date. So it gets ignored, until it cannot be.
02What it does
Ask it what is wrong, in your own words.
The assistant lives on the computer and can see what it is actually doing — how much memory is in use, how full the drives are, what the hardware is, how long it has been running. So the answer is about your computer, not about computers in general.
- Answers in plain language, not error codes
- The Fixes page lists problems it found, each one click to fix
- The Security check shows whether your antivirus and firewall are on
- Weekly reports are saved on your computer automatically
- Help videos show you how, for anything it cannot do itself
It can fix things. It never does it behind your back. One click to clear out temporary files, stop programs opening at sign-in, close programs that say "Not responding", bring back a frozen taskbar or Start menu, run a virus scan — and nothing changes until you say yes.
No fix runs on a schedule, no fix runs while you are away from the computer, and nobody else can run anything on your computer.
03Your computer at a glance
What is actually in this computer.
A dashboard showing its real hardware and current state: processor, memory, drives, Windows version, how long it has been on, and whether it is protected.
Useful when someone asks what you have, when you are deciding whether to upgrade or replace, and when you are working out whether a problem is the computer or the software. It keeps working when the computer is offline, because the information is on the computer and not only in the cloud.
04The rest of the family
And the computers you end up fixing for everyone else.
If you are the person your household calls, add their computers too. Your family’s signup code is the easy way.
Each one appears in a single list with its health score, whether it is protected, and when it was last seen — so you can answer “is it even switched on?” without driving over. $30 a month covers up to five computers, and removing one frees its spot for the next.
05Honest fit
When this is not what you need.
Cheaper to say here than to have you find out in week two.
You want a person to take over
It fixes the everyday problems with one click, and shows you how to do the rest. But there is no person on the other end, and nobody logs in remotely to take over.
You want it to replace your antivirus
It doesn’t, and you don’t need to change the one you have. 365 IT Guard checks that your antivirus is on and up to date, whether that’s Microsoft Defender or another product like ESET. If it’s Defender, you can also start a scan with one click.
You have one computer and no trouble with it
Then you probably do not need this yet. It earns its place when something goes wrong, or when you are looking after more than your own computer.
Install it on the computer that is annoying you.
